Rajinikanth celebrates 50 years in the Industry

As Superstar Rajinikanth celebrates 50 years in cinema, the Indian film industry is commemorating a huge milestone. People from all around the country have been sending in tributes, with renowned stars Kamal Haasan and Mammootty at the top of the list.

Kamal Haasan wrote an impassioned statement on X for his long-time friend and called the moment "half a century of cinematic brilliance." He talked about how Rajinikanth's charm and talent will last, and he also hoped that Coolie, the actor's next movie, will do very well.

Haasan's tweet talked about the people that worked on Coolie, like director Lokesh Kanagaraj, producer Kalanithi Maran, music composer Anirudh Ravichander, and a cast full of stars like Sathyaraj, Nagarjuna, Aamir Khan, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, and Shruti Haasan.

Mammootty also took part in the celebration, calling Rajinikanth a "inspiration" and remembering how great it was to be on screen with him. "Best of luck with Coolie." He wrote, "Keep inspiring and shining always."

The composer of Coolie, Anirudh Ravichander, wrote the line "50 years..." to celebrate the occasion. "1 throne. 1 man," while director Lokesh Kanagaraj wrote a note of thanks to Rajinikanth for his trust and help. "You, Thalaivar, are the reason this movie turned out the way it did. Kanagaraj said, "I'll always remember our talks on and off set."

Shruti Haasan, Nagarjuna, Sathyaraj, Aamir Khan, and others have important parts in Coolie, which is set against the backdrop of gold smuggling. The crime thriller that everyone has been waiting for comes out on August 14, the same day as War 2 featuring Hrithik Roshan, Jr. NTR, and Kiara Advani.

This Independence Day weekend will be a momentous one for movie fans, with two huge movies coming out on the same day and Rajinikanth celebrating 50 years in the business.
