Uttar Pradesh 2024 Lok Sabha Polls: For the 2024 General Elections the BJP has fielded Maneka Gandhi again. Meanwhile the Samajwadi Party has changed its candidate from Sultanpur Lok Sabha seat, giving the ticket to Ram Bhual Nishad replacing Bheem Nishad. Uday Raj Verma has been fielded by BSP for Sultanpur Lok Sabha seat.

Sultanpur, located along the Gomti River in Uttar Pradesh, holds significance as the administrative hub of Sultanpur district within the Ayodhya division. The district is comprised of several assembly seats, reflecting the diverse political interests and demographics of the region.

The five assembly seats within the Sultanpur Lok Sabha constituency are Isauli, Sultanpur, Sadar, Kadipur (Reserved), and Lambhua.

In the context of electoral politics, Sultanpur serves as a battleground for parties seeking to assert their influence and secure representation in the state legislature and parliament. The voting date for the Sultanpur Lok Sabha Constituency Election in 2024 is scheduled for May 25th, which falls within Phase 6 of the electoral process.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Maneka Sanjai Gandhi, representing the BJP, emerged victorious in the Sultanpur Lok Sabha constituency, securing 459,196 votes. Chandra Bhadra Singh "ssonu" of the BSP received 444,670 votes, resulting in a defeat with a margin of 14,526 votes.

The margin of victory, with Gandhi winning by 14,526 votes, reflects a closely contested election in Sultanpur. Despite a strong showing by the BSP candidate, Gandhi managed to secure a sufficient lead to emerge victorious.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Feroze Varun Gandhi, representing the BJP, emerged victorious in the Sultanpur Lok Sabha constituency, securing 410,348 votes. Pawan Pandey of the BSP received 231,446 votes. The Sultanpur parliamentary constituency had a total of 1,703,698 registered electors in 2014.

For the 2024 General Elections the BJP has fielded Maneka Gandhi again. Meanwhile the Samajwadi Party has changed its candidate from Sultanpur Lok Sabha seat, giving the ticket to Ram Bhual Nishad replacing Bheem Nishad. Uday Raj Verma has been fielded by BSP for Sultanpur Lok Sabha seat.
