Punjab 2024 Lok Sabha polls: In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) Bhagwant Mann won with 4,13,561 votes. Congress candidate Kewal Singh Dhillon secured 3,03,350 votes, while Shiromani Akali Dal's Parminder Singh Dhindsa received 2,63,498 votes.

Sangrur is one of the 13 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state of Punjab, India, comprising nine assembly constituencies: Lahari Dibra, Sunam, Bhadaur, Barnala, Mahal Kalan, Maler Kotla, Dhuri, and Sangrur. As per the 2011 census, Sangrur Municipal Council had a population of 88,043, with 46,931 males and 41,112 females.

The Sangrur Lok Sabha constituency was established in 1951. In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the total number of voters in this constituency was 12,51,401, with 6,60,913 men and 5,90,488 women. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) Bhagwant Mann won with 4,13,561 votes. Congress candidate Kewal Singh Dhillon secured 3,03,350 votes, while Shiromani Akali Dal's Parminder Singh Dhindsa received 2,63,498 votes.

In the 2014 elections, AAP's Bhagwant Mann defeated Akali Dal's Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa by more than 2 lakh votes. Mann received 5,33,237 votes, representing a 48.5 percent vote share. Akali Dal's Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa garnered 3,21,516 votes, accounting for a 29.2 percent vote share, while the Congress candidate received 1,81,410 votes, amounting to a 16.5 percent vote share.
