Poll of exit polls predicts 350-paar for NDA, setback for INDIA bloc

Lok Sabha Polls: Vice-president of the BJP's Odisha unit Golak Mohapatra has announced that Modi will speak at public gatherings in Chhau Padia, Baripada, Balasore, and Kendrapara.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party-led alliance is projected to win a majority in the general election that concluded on June1.

Poll of polls of at least nine exit polls predicted at least 361 seats for the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA). The simple majority mark in Lok Sabha is 272. Meanwhile, the Congress-led INDIA alliance is expected to win 143 seats.

Votes polled in all seven phases of the Lok Sabha election will be counted on 4 June.

As the numbers started trickling in, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the “opportunistic” Opposition bloc has failed to strike a chord with the people of the country.

According to Dainik Bhaskar, the NDA is likely to win 281-350 seats. The INDIA bloc, comprising the Congress party, Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party, the Communist Party of India, and several regional parties, is projected to win in 145-201 Lok Sabha constituencies, it said. Other candidates are expected to win 33-49 seats.

Meanwhile, IndiaTV-CNX predicted that the NDA will win 37 seats while the INDIA bloc will bag 125 seats and others 47 seats.

Jan Ki Baat predicted 362-392 seats for NDA and 141-161 for the INDIA bloc and 10-20 for others.

As per India News D Dynamics exit-polls, the NDA is likely to get 371 seats; the INDIA bloc 125-133 seats, and others 30 seats.

News Nation said the NDA will win 342-378 seats while the INDIA bloc will grab 153-169 seats and others 21-23 seats.

According to Republic Bharat-Matrize, the NDA is likely to win 353-368 seats. The INDIA bloc is projected to win in 118-133 Lok Sabha constituencies, it said. Other candidates are expected to win 43-48 seats.

Republic TV-P MARQ stated the NDA will win 359 seats. The INDIA bloc and the others would win 154 and 30 seats, respectively.

According to News18 exit polls, the NDA will win 355-370 seats while INDIA could win 125-140 and others 42-52 seats.

Earlier in the day, Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge said the INDIA bloc parties would win over 295 seats, adding that they had a people's survey with them.

According to Today's Chanakya, the NDA is expected to win about 400 seats while the INDIA bloc would win around 110 seats and others 44 seats.

In the 2019 polls, BJP romped home with 303 seats and the NDA pushed the number to 352. The Congress secured 52 seats and the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) bagged 91.
