Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a dig at the Congress and its allies for working on a model of having five prime ministers in five years.
Speaking exclusively to News18, PM Modi said that the opposition cannot run such a big country using this model. "'Somewhere I was reading in the newspaper that they (opposition) are bringing such a formula in which there will be five Prime Ministers in five years. One Prime Minister every year. If they bring a Prime Minister every year, then tell me what will happen to the country," he said.

PM Modi said he is confident of a hat-trick and the opposition has no narrative except harping on NDA's target of "400 paar". He added that the opposition INDIA bloc thinks it can win only "abusing Modi and the entire alliance is directionless".
"From the first three phases of elections, I can clearly see that whether it is the Congress Party or any other party, everyone seems directionless. You won't see INDI Alliance anywhere. They are not able to decide the leaders, they are not able to decide the agenda. They feel that strong opposition to Modi, abusing Modi will suffice for them and they want to win the elections on the basis of that. Today, especially the young voters always think that after all such a big country,so many diversities…who is the leader who will be able to handle it? People of Indie Alliance are not able to even tell the name," the PM told News18.
On being questioned about the Opposition’s claim that "PM Modi is no more talking about 400 paar", the prime minister said it was Congress’ “agenda” to see whether we can win 400 seats.
“I have travelled across India. There is a storm and we will easily cross the 400 seat mark,” he said.
