Goa voted for Lok Sabha elections in a single phase to choose its two representatives.

The News18 Mega Exit Poll expects BJP and Congress to see neck and neck battle. The exit poll predicted both BJP and Congress to get one seat each.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP emerged victorious in the North Goa constituency while the Congress won the South Goa seat. Shripad Yesso Naik, who defeated Congress leader Girish Chodankar by over 80,000 votes, currently represents North Goa. Francisco Sardinha of the Congress represents South Goa Lok Sabha constituency.

The 2014 elections saw the BJP maintain its hold on the North Goa seat and make inroads into the traditional Congress bastion of South Goa. Shripad Naik secured a victory in North Goa, overcoming Congress' Ravi Naik, while Narendra Sawaikar triumphed over Congress' Aleixo Lourenco Reginaldo in South Goa.

Recent opinion polls conducted by ABP News and CVoter predicted that the Lok Sabha elections in Goa would witness a tight contest between the Congress and the BJP.
