Registered candidates who have not yet downloaded their admit cards should visit the official website: xatonline.in to access and print them. It is essential to carry the admit card and a valid government-issued ID, such as a passport, Aadhaar card, or driving licence, to the examination centre.

The exam will take place from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Candidates are advised to arrive at their designated centres at least one hour before the start of the exam to complete necessary verification processes.

Exam Pattern and Changes in XAT 2025

1. Introduction of Analytical Essay Writing (AEW) at GD/PI Stage

The Analytical Essay Writing (AEW) component will not be part of the written test. Instead, it will be integrated into the Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD/PI) stage for shortlisted candidates.

2. Revised General Knowledge Section

The General Knowledge section has been reduced to 20 questions, down from 25. This section is divided into:

  • Current Affairs: 12 questions

  • This change aims to balance awareness of ongoing events with foundational knowledge.

3. Adjusted Exam Structure

The XAT 2025 will be conducted in two parts:

  • Part One: 170 minutes
  • Part Two (General Knowledge Section): 10 minutes
  • The total exam duration remains 180 minutes.

Important Guidelines

  • Mobile phones, calculators, and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited in the examination hall.
  • Candidates should follow the dress code, avoiding accessories like watches and jewellery.
