UPSSSC PET 2025

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has started the registration process for the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website, upsssc.gov.in, until June 17, 2025. The last date for making corrections in the application form is June 24, 2025.

The UPSSSC PET score will remain valid for three years, allowing candidates to apply for various Group 'C' posts during this period. Nearly 30 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the exam this year.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have passed Class 10 or equivalent from a recognized board. The age limit is 18 to 40 years (as of July 1, 2025), with relaxation for reserved categories.

Application Fee

The fee is Rs. 185 for General/OBC, Rs. 95 for SC/ST, and Rs. 25 for Divyangjan (PwD) candidates.

Posts Requiring PET Qualification

Clearing PET is mandatory for various posts, including Revenue Lekhpal, Forest Guard, Gram Panchayat Officer, Agriculture Assistant, Junior Assistant, Accountant & Auditor, ITI Instructor, and Surveyor.
