UP Board Results 2025

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will start the evaluation of answer sheets for the UP Board High School and Intermediate examinations for the year 2025 today, March 19. The evaluation process will begin today and will continue until April 2, involving 1,34,723 teachers tasked with assessing a staggering 2,96,93,855 answer sheets across 261 evaluation centres in the state.

The evaluation process is being conducted under the supervision of UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh and District School Inspectors, who have been designated as Chief Controllers. To ensure transparency and efficiency, the board has issued a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to all evaluation centres. As per the SOP, examiners will evaluate a maximum of 50 answer sheets per day for High School and 45 for Intermediate. Additionally, the total number of copies to be checked by each examiner has been capped at 700 for High School (with 80 for arts subjects) and 800 for Intermediate.

A total of 84,122 examiners and 8,473 Deputy Chief Examiners have been appointed for High School, where 1,63,22,248 answer sheets will be evaluated. For Intermediate, 50,601 examiners and 5,471 Deputy Chief Examiners will assess 1,33,71,607 answer sheets. In Prayagraj alone, eight evaluation centers have been set up, including Government Inter College, Kulbhaskar Ashram Inter College, and Kesar Vidya Peeth Inter College, among others.

A significant challenge faced by the board ahead of the evaluation process was the high absenteeism rate among examiners. Reports revealed that 40% of the appointed examiners were absent during the pre-evaluation phase, with attendance averaging only 60%.

To streamline the process, absent examiners were instructed to report to their designated centres by March 17 and undergo training on March 18. The board has emphasized strict adherence to the evaluation schedule and guidelines to maintain the integrity of the process.

With the evaluation process now underway, the UP Board aims to complete the assessment of nearly 3 crore answer sheets within the stipulated 15-day timeframe. The results of the High School and Intermediate examinations are expected to be declared by the end of April.
