Tamil Nadu TNPSC Group II Hall Ticket 2024: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released the hall tickets for the upcoming TNPSC Group 2 Exam 2024. Candidates who registered for the recruitment of Group 2 and Group 2A positions can now download their admit cards from the official TNPSC website, tnpsc.gov.in.

The TNPSC Group 2 exam is scheduled for September 14, 2024. The hall tickets were released today, per the commission's official notification. Candidates can download their admit cards using their registration number and password on the TNPSC login portal.

How to download TNPSC Group 2 Hall Ticket 2024?

Step 1. Visit the official website of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission: https://www.tnpsc.gov.in/
Step 2. Under the "Important Links" section, click on "Hall Ticket download."
Step 3. Locate the link for the TNPSC Group 2 Hall Ticket and click on it.
Step 4. Enter your registration number and password in the login portal.
Step 5. Download your hall ticket and take a printout for future reference.

With the exam date approaching soon, candidates are advised to intensify their preparation and regularly check the TNPSC website for any updates regarding the exam or future recruitment processes.

Electronic devices like mobile phone and books, notebooks, handbags and other unauthorized items are not allowed to enter the examination hall. Candidates are therefore advised not to bring any prohibited items. Violation of any of the instructions mentioned in the notification may result in rejection of his application/invalidation of his answer sheet or any other penalty as may be imposed by the Commission.

In the admit card of the examination hall, all the details including name of the candidate should be confirmed. Any discrepancy in the same can be reported to the Selection Commission through email (grievancetnpsc tn.gov.in).

Exam Pattern for TNPSC Group 2 Exam 2024

The TNPSC Group 2 exam pattern consists of two main stages:

1. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type):

The preliminary examination for TNPSC Group 2 is an objective type test conducted over a duration of 3 hours. It assesses candidates on three key subjects: General English, General Studies, and Aptitude and Mental Ability Test. Each subject has a specific number of questions, with General English having 100 questions, General Studies having 75 questions, and Aptitude and Mental Ability Test having 25 questions.

2. Main Examination (Descriptive Type):

The main examination for TNPSC Group 2 is descriptive in nature and consists of two papers: Paper I and Paper II.

• Paper I - Tamil Language Proficiency, evaluates candidates' knowledge of the Tamil language through tasks such as translation, précis writing, comprehension, essay writing, and letter writing. It is worth 100 marks and is conducted over 3 hours.
• Paper II - General Knowledge, assesses candidates' understanding of general studies at a degree level. This paper is worth 300 marks and is also conducted over 3 hours.
