TNDGE SSLC Result 2025 declared at tnresults.nic.in: Girls outshine boys in Class Xth Results

Tamil Nadu SSLC Result 2025 has been declared at tnresults.nic.in. Students can check results online and download their marksheet using their credentials.

The Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu (TNDGE) has declared the Tamil Nadu SSLC Result 2025 today, Friday, 16 May. Students who appeared for the Class 10 Public Exams can now check their results online at the official websites tnresults.nic.in, dge.tn.gov.in, and dge1.tn.nic.in.

As per the data released by TNDGE, girls have once again performed better than boys in the Class 10 results. This year, 93.80% of students cleared the SSLC exam. Out of a total of 8,17,261 students who passed, 4,17,183 were girls, recording a pass percentage of 95.88%, while 4,00,078 boys passed with a pass percentage of 91.74%.

How to Check TN SSLC Result 2025 Online

To view the TN 10th result 2025, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official website: tnresults.nic.in or dge.tn.gov.in.
  2. Click on the link titled “SSLC March 2025 Results”.
  3. Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY).
  4. Click on “Submit” to view your result.
  5. Download and print your provisional marksheet for future use.

How to Access Result via DigiLocker

Students can also get their digital marksheet through DigiLocker by:

  1. Visiting results.digilocker.gov.in or using the DigiLocker app.
  2. Logging in with Aadhaar number or registered mobile number.
  3. Navigating to the education section, choosing Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education, selecting SSLC, and downloading the digital marksheet.

Details Mentioned on the Provisional Marksheet

The online provisional marksheet includes the following information:

  • Student’s full name
  • Registration number
  • Subject-wise marks
  • Total marks
  • Result status (Pass/Fail)
  • Division (First, Second, or Third)

Please note that this is only a provisional certificate. Students are required to collect their original marksheet from their respective schools at a later date.

For Students Not Satisfied With Their Result

If any student feels there is a mistake in their score or they are not satisfied with their marks, they can apply for revaluation or retotalling. The application process and fee details will soon be made available on dge.tn.gov.in.

Supplementary Exams

Students who do not pass in one or more subjects will be allowed to appear for Supplementary Exams, likely scheduled for June or July 2025. The board will release the detailed timetable after the result declaration.

This year, more than 9 lakh students appeared for the Tamil Nadu Class 10th exams, which were held in March-April 2025. The results are now available online, and students can view their subject-wise marks, total score, division, and result status using their registration number and date of birth.
