SSC GD 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has invited applications for Constable (General Duty) posts across various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Assam Rifles, and Narcotics Control Bureau. A total of 39,481 vacancies are up for grabs, with opportunities for both men and women.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: The age of the candidate must be 18-23 years as on 01-01-2025 (i.e., candidates born not before 02-01-2002 and not later than 01-01-2007).
Educational Qualification: The candidates must have passed the Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/ University as on or before the cut-off date i.e., 01-01-2025.

Selection Process
The recruitment process involves four stages:
Computer Based Exam (CBE): This online test will assess candidates in General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English/Hindi. It will consist of 80 questions with a time limit of 60 minutes.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET): This stage tests physical endurance. Males will need to complete a 5 km run within 24 minutes (except for Ladakh, where the distance is 1.6 km and time limit is 6.5 minutes). Females will run 1.6 km within 8.5 minutes (except for Ladakh, where the distance is 800 meters and time limit is 4 minutes).
Physical Standard Test (PST): This stage measures height, chest measurement, and visual acuity.
Medical Examination & Document Verification: Only candidates who clear the previous stages will be called for these final steps.
