The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination 2025 notification on its new website, ssc.gov.in. A total of 3,131 vacancies have been announced for various Group C posts including Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant, and Data Entry Operator (DEO).

The online application process began on June 23, 2025, and will remain open until July 18, 2025 (11:00 PM). The last date to pay the online application fee is July 19, 2025 (11:00 PM). A correction window for application form edits and payment of correction charges will be available from July 23 to 24, 2025.

The Tier-I Computer-Based Examination is scheduled to be held from September 8 to 18, 2025, while the Tier-II exam is tentatively scheduled for February–March 2026.

SSC CHSL 10+2 Recruitment Exam 2025: Important Dates

Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board. Those appearing for their Class 12 exams are also eligible, provided they meet the qualification requirements by the document verification cutoff date.

For the post of DEO in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG), candidates must have studied Mathematics as a subject in the Science stream at the 10+2 level.

Post-Wise Pay Scale

• Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Pay Level-2 (₹19,900–63,200)
• Data Entry Operator (DEO): Pay Level-4 (₹25,500–81,100) and Level-5 (₹29,200–92,300)
• DEO Grade ‘A’: Pay Level-4 (₹25,500–81,100)
