RRB Group D Last Date Extended to March 11 for 32,438 Vacancies; Apply at rrbapply.gov.in

The RRB Group D Recruitment 2025 deadline has been extended to March 11 for 32,438 vacancies. Eligible candidates can apply at rrbapply.gov.in.

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have extended the application deadline for Group D Recruitment 2025. Candidates can now apply until March 11, 2025 (11:59 pm) on the official website, rrbapply.gov.in. Earlier, the deadline was March 1, 2025.

This recruitment drive is for 32,438 vacancies under Centralised Employment Notification (CEN 08/2024) for Level 1 of the 7th CPC pay matrix. Candidates applying for these positions must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria and complete their application before the extended deadline.

Eligibility Criteria and Selection Process

To apply, candidates must have passed Class 10, ITI, or an equivalent qualification, or hold a National Apprenticeship Certificate from NCVT. The age limit is 18 to 36 years as of January 1, 2025.

The selection process includes four stages: a Computer-Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification, and a Medical Examination. The CBT consists of 100 questions to be completed in 90 minutes, with one-third negative marking for each wrong answer. To qualify, Unreserved and EWS candidates must score 40%, while OBC (non-creamy layer), SC, and ST candidates need 30%.

Application Fee

The application fee is Rs 250 for PwBD, Female, Transgender, Ex-Servicemen, SC, ST, Minority, and EBC candidates, while all others must pay Rs 500. After appearing for the CBT, Rs 250 fee candidates will receive a full refund after deducting bank charges, while Rs 500 fee candidates will get Rs 400 refunded.

How to Apply

Candidates can apply online through any one of the railway zones via rrbapply.gov.in.

  1. Visit the official website and click ‘New Registration’.
  2. Fill in required details to create an account.
  3. Log in with the registration number and password.
  4. Enter personal, educational, and category details.
  5. Choose preferred posts and RRB zone.
  6. Pay the application fee and select the exam language.
  7. Upload photo, signature, and category certificate (if applicable).
  8. Review the form, submit it, and download a copy for reference.

Candidates must ensure that all details are accurate, as incorrect information may lead to disqualification.
