RBSE Class 8 Result 2025: The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has announced the Class 8 results for the academic year 2024-25 today, May 26. Students who appeared for the Rajasthan Raj Shala Darpan examinations can check their scores on the board's official websites – rajshaladarpan.nic.in and rajpsp.nic.in.

Education Minister Madan Dilawar announced the exam results via video conference from the DoIT office in Pali district's Rani block, while connecting remotely from Shiksha Sankul in Jaipur. This year, a total of 12,22,369 students cleared the exams, achieving an overall pass percentage of 96.66%.

Steps to check RBSE Class 8 Result 2025?

Students can follow these simple steps to access their results:

Step 1. Go to rajshaladarpan.nic.in or rajpsp.nic.in.
Step 2. Find and click on the "RBSE Class 8th Result 2025" link on the homepage.
Step 3. Provide the required credentials, such as roll number or seat number.
Step 4. Click on “Submit” or “View Result” to proceed.
Step 5. The result will be displayed on the screen. Students are advised to download the scorecard or take a printout for future reference.

Passing Criteria for RBSE Class 8 Exams

To pass the Rajasthan Board Class 8 examinations, students must secure:

  • At least 33% marks in each subject.
  • A minimum of 33% aggregate marks overall.

Students who fail in more than two subjects will be required to repeat the academic year. However, those who fail in one or two subjects will have the opportunity to appear for supplementary exams.

Post-Result Procedures

Original Marksheets: After the result declaration, students can collect their original marksheets from their respective schools.

Provisional Marksheet: A downloadable provisional marksheet will be available on rajshaladarpan.rajasthan.gov.in.

Re-evaluation: Students dissatisfied with their marks can apply for re-evaluation as per RBSE guidelines.

Supplementary Exams: Candidates who failed in one or two subjects can register for compartmental exams.

RBSE 8th Result 2024

In the previous academic year, the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) recorded an impressive overall pass percentage of 95.72% for Class 8 students. Breaking it down, government schools achieved a 94.54% pass percentage, while private schools outperformed slightly with a 97.38% pass percentage.
