The 8th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) has received over 2.79 crore registrations from students, teachers, and parents across India and abroad. This flagship initiative, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has grown into a transformative movement aimed at reducing exam-related stress and fostering a positive outlook toward education.

According to an official release from the Ministry of Education, the overwhelming response reflects the program's success as a true "Jan Andolan" (people's movement). PPC has redefined examinations, transforming them from a source of anxiety into a festival of learning and celebration.

The online registration for PPC 2025 began on December 14, 2024, on the MyGov.in portal and will remain open until January 14, 2025. This year’s program aims to build on its legacy of addressing students’ mental well-being and fostering resilience during examinations.

Organized annually by the Department of School Education and Literacy, PPC is celebrated as a vibrant and interactive event. Its unique approach has made it one of the most anticipated education programs in the country. The 7th edition of PPC in 2024, held in a town hall format at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, received widespread acclaim for its innovative structure and outreach.

In keeping with the ethos of PPC, a series of engaging school-level activities are scheduled between January 12, 2025 (National Youth Day) and January 23, 2025 (Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti). These activities aim to celebrate education and examinations as joyful experiences, including:

• Meme Competitions
• Nukkad Natak (Street Plays)
• Yoga and Meditation Workshops
• Poster-Making Competitions
• Inspirational Film Screenings
• Poetry, Song, and Dance Performances
• Mental Health Workshops and Counseling Sessions

Through these initiatives, PPC 2025 reinforces its commitment to creating a stress-free learning environment where education is celebrated as a journey of growth and discovery.
