Amid widespread speculation and rumors regarding the postponement of the NEET PG 2025 exam, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has officially announced that the exam will be conducted on June 15, 2025. The confirmation came on March 17, putting an end to uncertainty among aspirants. The NEET PG 2025 exam will be conducted on Sunday, June 15, 2025, in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format across various exam centers in India. NEET PG 2025 will be held in two shifts.

Aspiring doctors seeking admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma programs must take this exam as it serves as the sole entrance test for postgraduate medical courses in India.

NBEMS will release the official information bulletin soon on its website: natboard.edu.in. The bulletin will provide detailed information regarding eligibility criteria, syllabus, exam pattern, application process, and other important guidelines.

The online application process for NEET PG 2025 is expected to begin shortly after the release of the bulletin. Candidates must carefully read the guidelines and submit their applications within the specified deadline to avoid last-minute issues.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). It serves as the gateway for admission to various MD (Doctor of Medicine), MS (Master of Surgery), and PG Diploma courses across India.

The exam covers subjects as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by the Medical Council of India, including Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, Preventive and Social Medicine, General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Pediatrics, Otorhinolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Anesthesiology, Radiology, Psychiatry, and Orthopaedics.

Post-examination, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts the counselling process for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, while respective state counselling authorities managed the remaining 50% state quota seats. The counselling involved multiple rounds, including registrations, choice filling, seat allotment results, and reporting to allotted institutes.
