Documents Required at the Time of Admission

  • Class 10 marksheet (if required)
  • Caste or category certificate (if applicable)
  • Transfer and Leaving Certificate
  • Passport-size photographs
  • Government-issued identity proof
How the Merit List Is Prepared

The merit list issued by Mumbai University is compiled based on a few key criteria. The first factor is the marks obtained by students in the Class 12 qualifying examination. Higher scores improve the chances of securing a place in preferred colleges and courses.

The university also considers the availability of seats in the selected college and programme. In addition, the applicant’s reservation category, if applicable, plays a role in determining their position in the merit list. These criteria help ensure that the admission process is carried out in a fair and transparent manner across all affiliated colleges.
