
The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2026 registration process has started from January 10. Students who wish to seek admission to undergraduate courses in engineering, pharmacy, and other professional programmes in Maharashtra can now apply online. The last date to submit the application form is 12 February 2026.
The registration process is being conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. Eligible candidates must apply through the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. Only online applications will be accepted, and students are advised to complete the process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.
To register for MHT CET 2026, candidates must keep their Aadhaar number and APAAR ID ready. They will also need scanned copies of their Class 10 and Class 12 certificates, along with a recent photograph and signature. All details entered in the form should match official records, as incorrect or inconsistent information may lead to rejection of the application. Only fully completed forms will be considered.

Application fee and eligibility
The application fee for candidates belonging to the general category is Rs.1,300. Reserved category candidates, including SC, ST, and OBC, are required to pay Rs. 1,000.
Students who have passed or are appearing in the Class 12 examination are eligible to apply, provided they have studied the required subjects. Candidates applying under the PCM group must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, while those applying under the PCB group must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Candidates must meet all eligibility conditions set by the CET Cell for their application to be accepted.
