Document Verification Process

Candidates who have applied under Clause Code 'A' but have not studied in Kannada medium from Class 1 to 10 or under Rural, Religious, or Linguistic Minority reservations will have their seven-year study period verified through SATS. They will receive a "Successfully Verified" claim certificate and do not need to visit a college for further verification.

For those under Clause Code 'A' who have studied for 10 years (Classes 1 to 10) and have claimed reservations under Kannada Medium, Rural, Religious, or Linguistic categories, the verification status will be marked as "Claimed Verified," "Claimed Not Verified," or "Not Claimed." These candidates must visit their PUC/12th-grade institution or the nearest government PU college with original and photocopied documents (as per KEA’s format) for verification.

Candidates applying under Clause Codes 'B', 'C', 'D', 'T', 'J', 'K', 'L', 'M', or 'N' must check the KEA website for the verification schedule. Those under Clause Codes 'E', 'F', 'G', 'H', and 'O' should have their academic documents verified at their respective PU colleges. However, certificates related to Defence, Ex-Defence, CAPF, and Ex-CAPF categories must be submitted separately at KEA for verification.

Additionally, caste and caste-income certificate RD numbers will be verified online. Candidates should ensure that their certificates are valid and that they enter their RD numbers correctly while filling out the application form.

KEA advises all applicants to read the official notification carefully and follow the verification guidelines to avoid any issues during the admission process. Further details and updates are available on the KEA website.
