Karnataka SSLC Exam 2025 Begins Today: Key Details on Exam Shifts, Hall Tickets and Important Guidelines Here

The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) will commence the Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Examination 2025 today, March 21, 2025.

The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) will commence the Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Examination 2025 today, March 21, 2025. The Class 10 exams, also known as Examination-1, will be conducted for regular fresh, regular repeaters, private fresh, and private repeater candidates. The examination will run until April 4, 2025, with daily sessions scheduled from 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM.

Exam Schedule and Timings

The SSLC Examination-1 will start with first-language papers and conclude with National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) subjects. The exam timings vary depending on the subject:

First language, core subjects, and JTS subjects: 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM (3 hours for writing, 15 minutes for reading the question paper).

Second and third languages: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM (2 hours 45 minutes for writing, 15 minutes for reading the question paper).

Additionally, special provisions have been made for differently-abled students, who will receive extra time based on the duration of the exam:

  • 60 minutes extra for 3-hour question papers.
  • 50 minutes extra for 2-hour 30-minute question papers.
  • 40 minutes extra for 2-hour question papers.
  • 30 minutes extra for 1-hour 30-minute question papers.

Hall Ticket Details

The final admit cards for students appearing in Examination-1 were uploaded to the KSEAB website on March 10, 2025. School principals accessed the hall tickets through the board's school login portal and distributed them to the candidates. Students are advised to carry their admit cards to the examination center, as entry will not be permitted without them.

Phased Examination Process

The Karnataka SSLC exams are being conducted in three phases: Examination-1, Examination-2, and Examination-3. This phased approach ensures a smooth and organised evaluation process for all candidates.

Important Instructions for Students

Students are urged to arrive at their respective examination centers at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. They must bring their hall tickets, along with necessary stationery such as pens, pencils, and erasers. Electronic devices, including mobile phones and smartwatches, are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
