They may update selected details through the portal. Repeat applicants include those who appeared in Session 1. They must have re-registered for Session 2. Editable fields differ based on registration type.

Current candidates include those first registered in Session 1. Session 1 registrations ran from October 31 to November 27, 2025. They later re-registered for Session 2. Session 2 registrations were held from February 1 to February 25, 2026. These candidates may edit specific application details.

The editable fields include:

  • Course or paper selection
  • Mode or medium of question paper
  • State code of eligibility
  • Choice of examination cities
  • Class 10 and Class 12 academic details
  • Gender and category information
  • Identity details if Aadhaar was unavailable

Candidates may need to pay correction charges. The amount depends on changes made.

What Happens After JEE Main 2026 Correction Window Closes

After the correction period ends, NTA will proceed further. The agency will issue the advance city intimation slip. It will also release the Session 2 admit card. These documents will mention important examination details.

They will include:

  • Examination date
  • Shift timing
  • Examination centre and city allotment

Candidates must download and verify these documents carefully. Authorities have advised candidates to act cautiously. No further correction opportunity will be given later. Even small errors may cause issues during verification. Students should log in early to avoid heavy traffic. They must complete corrections before the deadline closes.
