JEE Main 2025

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a solution for candidates facing technical issues during online application registration for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) - 2025 due to a mismatch between their Aadhaar card name and their class 10th educational certificate.

This information comes after the NTA received grievances from candidates encountering difficulties with Aadhaar card authentication during the application process.

To ensure a smoother application experience for JEE (Main) 2025, the NTA has implemented a slight modification in the online application form. Here's what candidates can do if they encounter a name mismatch notification:

  • Upon receiving a message about a name mismatch during Aadhaar authentication, candidates should simply close the pop-up window by clicking the "X" button.
  • A new window will appear. In this step, candidates must enter their name exactly as it appears on their Aadhaar card.
  • The system will capture both the name on the educational certificate and the name entered from the Aadhaar card. This will allow candidates to continue with the application form.

By implementing this solution, the NTA aims to simplify the application process for JEE (Main) 2025 and ensure a smoother experience for all candidates. Regularly visit the NTA website https://www.nta.ac.in/ for any further updates related to JEE (Main) 2025.
