The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has officially declared the JAC 8th Result 2026. The council has released the Class VIII result exclusively through school login credentials on the official portal, jacresults.com.

Individual students cannot access their marks directly from the portal. Instead, the council has made the results available only to registered school principals or designated school heads. Schools have been provided with secure login access to download the complete result data of their enrolled students.

Students are advised to contact their respective schools to obtain their subject-wise marks and provisional scorecards. No direct student login or roll number-based search is available on the public interface.

Distribute printed copies or share the scores with students and parents as per school policy

Class 8 results include a combination of written exam scores and school-based internal assessments. By routing the results through schools, the council aims to reduce discrepancies and allow schools to verify marks before issuing final grade cards to students.

What Students and Parents Should Do

  • Do not attempt to check results using your roll number on the public portal – it will not work.
  • Reach out to your school principal or class teacher immediately to request your result.
  • Collect your provisional marksheet from the school. The original signed copy will be provided later by the institution.
  • For any discrepancies in marks, students must report the issue to their school principal, who will then coordinate with the JAC for corrections.

The results declared on jacresults.com are provisional. The original JAC Class 8 marksheets will be dispatched to schools within two to three weeks. Students who successfully clear the examination will be promoted to Class 9 for the 2026–27 academic session. Those who need to appear for compartment exams will be notified by their schools.

For any further announcements regarding the JAC 8th Result 2026, including re-evaluation schedules or compartment exam dates, schools and students should regularly visit the official websites: jac.nic.in and jacresults.com.
