The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2026. Candidates can now submit their online application forms until January 23, 2026. The extension gives additional time to applicants who have not yet completed the registration process.
CUET PG 2026 is conducted for admission to postgraduate programmes across participating Central Universities. Several state, deemed, and private universities are also part of the admission process through this examination. The test covers 157 subjects and is designed as a multi disciplinary entrance examination.
The examination will be held at 292 centres across India and 16 centres outside the country, making it accessible to a large number of candidates.
The application process for CUET PG 2026 is strictly online and can be completed only through the official website. Applications sent through any other mode will not be accepted. Candidates are advised to submit only one application form, as multiple submissions may lead to rejection.
Applicants must ensure that their email ID and mobile number remain active throughout the admission process. All official communication, including exam-related updates and notifications, will be sent through these registered contact details.

Candidates who need to make changes to their application form will be able to do so during the correction window, which will be open from January 28 to January 30, 2026. The last date to complete the application fee payment is January 25, 2026.
