CBSE warns students, parents against fake syllabus and sample question papers

CBSE has issued a warning to students and parents about fake syllabus and sample question papers circulating online. The board urges reliance on official sources to avoid confusion and misinformation.

CBSE Fake Syllabus, Sample Papers: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an advisory warning students and parents about misleading information regarding the syllabus, resources, and sample question papers for the 2024-25 academic session.

The Board has cautioned against online portals spreading unverified news and outdated links related to CBSE materials. "It has come to our notice that certain online portals and websites are circulating outdated links and unverified news related to sample question papers, curriculum, CBSE resources, and activities. These links and news falsely claim to provide updated information for the session 2024-25," stated the advisory.

CBSE emphasized the importance of relying on official sources to avoid confusion. "In the interest of the public, we wish to emphasise that information from unauthorised sources can be misleading and may cause unnecessary confusion among schools, students, parents, and other stakeholders," the Board added.

Students and parents are advised to consult the official CBSE website for accurate and up-to-date information.
