The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that students who are unable to attend the Class 12 Hindi Core (302) and Hindi Elective (002) examination on 15th March 2025 will be given a special opportunity to appear for the exam later.
This decision has been taken as Holi celebrations, though officially on 14 March 2025, may continue or take place on 15 March 2025 in some regions. CBSE has acknowledged that this may prevent some students from attending the exam on the scheduled date.
CBSE has clarified that while the Hindi Core and Hindi Elective examinations will be conducted as scheduled on 15.03.2025, students who are unable to attend due to the festival will not be forced to do so. Instead, such students will be allowed to take the exam on another date. This special examination will be organised along with the exams arranged for students who miss their papers because of participation in National or International level sports events, as per CBSE's existing policy.
