CBSE Opens Portal for Uploading Internal Grades of Class 12 Students; Read Notice Here

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that schools can now upload internal grades for Class 12 students for the 2024-25 academic year. The CBSE portal for uploading these internal marks opened on January 15, 2025, and will remain accessible until February 14, 2025.

According to the official notice issued by the board, the process is part of the ongoing preparations for the 2024-25 board exams, which are scheduled to begin on February 15, 2025. While schools are conducting practical exams, projects, and internal assessments, they are required to upload the corresponding marks on the portal within the specified timeframe.

The notice emphasizes the importance of accuracy when entering the data. Schools are instructed to thoroughly verify the internal grades before uploading them, as once submitted, the marks cannot be edited or corrected. This step ensures that no changes will be made once the data is uploaded to the system.

In addition, both internal and external examiners must confirm that the correct marks are uploaded on the day of the assessment. The board further stressed that it is essential for schools to check the maximum marks assigned to practical exams and internal assessments before awarding and uploading marks.

For the upcoming board exams, the Class 10 exams will be held from February 15, 2025, to March 18, 2025, while the Class 12 exams are scheduled to take place from February 15, 2025, to April 4, 2025.
