The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to conduct the Class 12 Physics examination today, February 20, 2025. As lakhs of students across the country prepare to appear for this crucial exam, the board has issued important guidelines and updates to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience for all candidates.
Exam Day Guidelines
- Reporting Time: Students must reach their respective examination centers at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. The exam will begin at 10:30 AM, and latecomers will not be permitted to enter the examination hall after the gates close.
- Admit Card: It is mandatory for all candidates to carry their CBSE Class 12 admit cards to the examination center. Without the admit card, students will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
- Stationery and Essentials: Students should bring their own pens, pencils, erasers, and other necessary stationery items. Calculators or any electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
- Dress Code: Candidates are expected to adhere to a simple and formal dress code. Any clothing with suspicious elements or potential malpractice tools will not be allowed.
- Question Paper and Answer Sheet: Students must carefully read the instructions on the question paper and answer sheet before starting the exam. Writing personal details, such as name or roll number, on the answer sheet is strictly prohibited unless specified.

Exam Duration: The Physics exam will be conducted for a duration of three hours, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
Question Paper Pattern: The paper will consist of a mix of theoretical and numerical questions, divided into sections A, B, C, and D. Students are advised to manage their time effectively to attempt all sections.
Extra Sheets: In case students require additional answer sheets, they can request them from the invigilator. However, they must ensure that their roll number and other details are correctly filled on every sheet.
