The Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) has released the results for its 2025 Staff Nurse recruitment drive today, December 11. A large number of candidates who appeared for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) from July 30 to August 3 can now download their individual scorecards to know their qualifying status for the next stage of the selection process.

This result announcement is a major step towards filling 11,389 vacant positions of Staff Nurse within the Bihar Health Department, representing one of the largest recruitment drives in the state's healthcare sector this year.

Candidates can follow these simple steps to check and download their results from the official BTSC portal:

Step 1. Go to btsc.bihar.gov.in.

Step 2. On the homepage, find and click on the link titled “BTSC Staff Nurse Result 2025” or a similar notification in the ‘Results’ or ‘Circulars’ section.

Step 3. You will be redirected to a login page. Enter your required credentials, which may include your Application Number, Roll Number, Registered Mobile Number, Password, or Date of Birth.

Step 4. Your individual scorecard will appear on the screen. Carefully review all details and download the PDF file. It is highly recommended to take a printout for future reference during the document verification process.

The released scorecard is crucial as it determines progression to the next stage. The selection for the Staff Nurse post is not based solely on the CBT score. The final merit list will be prepared by combining scores from two components:

Written Examination (CBT): Carries 75 marks. The percentage of marks you obtained in the CBT will be multiplied by a factor of 0.75 for the final merit calculation.

Work Experience: Carries a maximum of 25 marks. Candidates with satisfactory work experience as a Staff Nurse on a contractual basis in government health facilities within Bihar will be awarded 5 marks for each completed year of service, up to the maximum of 25 marks.

The final selection will be based on the total of these combined marks (out of 100), followed by document verification.

Candidates who find their name in the result and meet the cut-off criteria should immediately begin preparing for the subsequent stages:

Document Verification: Qualified candidates will be called for document verification. They must keep all original educational certificates, experience certificates (if applicable), caste certificates, photo ID proofs, and other relevant documents ready.

Final Merit List: After verification, the BTSC will release a final merit list based on the combined CBT and experience marks.
