BPSC 70th CCE Re-Exam For Patna Centre to Take Place on Jan 4, Check Notice Here

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the date for the re-examination of the 70th Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) for candidates assigned to the Patna centre. According to the official notice, the re-exam will take place on Sunday, 4 January 2025.

This decision was made following a full-bench meeting of the commission on 19 December 2024. The re-exam comes in the wake of the cancellation of the BPSC 70th CCE held on 13 December 2024 at the Bapu Examination Complex, Patna. The cancellation was prompted by allegations of a question paper leak, with candidates claiming that the question paper seal had been tampered with.

The BPSC notice states, “It is hereby informed that in the light of the decision taken by the commission, the date of January 4, 2025 (Sunday) is fixed for the re-examination of the cancelled examination of Bapu Examination Complex. Detailed information regarding the said re-examination program will be published soon on the Commission’s website.”

Approximately 4.80 lakh candidates had registered for the BPSC 70th CCE. To ensure fairness, the commission has prioritised conducting the re-examination for affected candidates.
