BSEB Third Competency Test 2025: Exam Dates Announced for Local Body Teachers

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the schedule for the Bihar Sakshamta Pariksha (Third Competency Test) for teachers appointed under local bodies. The BSEB Sakshamta Pariksha will be held from July 23 to July 25, 2025, in two shifts per day — morning and afternoon — and will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format.

According to BSEB, preparations for the Bihar Sakshamta Pariksha are in their final stages. All District Programme Officers (Establishment) and District Education Officers (DEOs) have been directed to inform eligible candidates in a timely manner to ensure no teacher misses the exam due to lack of communication.

The board has informed candidates that the process to download the admit card will be announced separately. All candidates are advised to regularly check the official BSEB website for the latest updates regarding the Bihar Sakshamta Pariksha.

The exam will be strictly monitored, and candidates must follow all rules and guidelines. Mobile phones, books, smart devices, and other electronic gadgets will not be allowed inside the examination center.

Online applications for the Fourth and Fifth phase of the Bihar Sakshamta Pariksha 2025 will open from July 12. A key update from BSEB is that candidates who fail in the third competency test will not be required to submit a fresh application form for future attempts. Instead, they will need to pay only the examination fee to reappear in upcoming Sakshamta Parikshas.

BSEB emphasized that the Bihar Sakshamta Pariksha is a crucial tool for evaluating the teaching skills and professional competency of local body teachers. The outcome of this test will directly impact permanent appointments and continuity of service for these educators.
