The Department of School Education, Andhra Pradesh, has released the final answer key for the AP TET 2024 today, October 29. The candidates who appeared for the test can download the key from the official website of APTET – aptet.apcfss.in.

The AP TET exam was conducted across multiple sessions between October 3 and October 21, 2024. The provisional answer key was released earlier in October, allowing candidates to raise objections, if any. After reviewing the objections, the final answer key has now been published.

Steps to download the AP TET Final Answer Key 2024

To download the final answer key, candidates can follow these simple steps:

Step 1. Visit the official APTET website: aptet.apcfss.in
Step 2. Look for the link labeled "AP TET Final Answer Key 2024" on the homepage.
Step 3. Click on the link. This will open a PDF file containing the final answers.
Step 4. Carefully review the answers in the PDF document.
Step 5. Download and save a copy of the PDF for future reference.

AP TET Result Date

The Department of School Education has also confirmed that the final results for the AP TET 2024 exam will be declared on November 2, 2024. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website for further updates.

Important Information for Candidates

  • The pass marks for AP TET vary based on the candidate category.
  • Open category candidates require 60% to pass, while candidates from the Backward Classes (BC) category need 50%.
  • For SC, ST, ex-servicemen, and differently-abled (PH) candidates, the pass mark is set at 40%. However, only differently-abled candidates with a minimum disability of 40% (Visually, Orthopedically, Hearing Impaired, and Autism) are eligible for this concession.
  • Scores obtained in the AP TET will carry a 20% weightage in the Teacher Recruitment process conducted by the State Government. The remaining 80% weightage will be based on a written test conducted as part of the Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT). Selection lists for teacher positions will be prepared based on the combined score.
