AIIMS NORCET 9 Notification 2025 Released, Check Application dates and other details here

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has released the short notification for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET-9) for the year 2025. The announcement was published on 22nd July 2025 in the employment newspaper. This exam is held for the recruitment of Nursing Officers across various AIIMS institutions, including AIIMS Delhi.

AIIMS NORCET 9 will be conducted in two stages, a Preliminary exam (CBT 1) and a Main exam (CBT 2). Both exams will be computer-based.

The Preliminary exam will have:

• 100 multiple-choice questions
• Total marks: 100
• Duration: 90 minutes
• Negative marking: 1/3 mark for every wrong answer

Only those who qualify in the Preliminary exam will be eligible to appear for the Main exam. Final selection will be based on the performance in both stages.

Candidates will need to apply online for the NORCET 9 exam. The application link will be activated on the official AIIMS exam website. Here’s how to apply:

1. Visit the AIIMS exam portal: www.aiimsexams.ac.in
2. Click on the NORCET-9 link under the “Important Announcements” section on the homepage.
3. Register online by providing your basic details such as name, mobile number, and email ID. Login credentials will be generated upon successful registration.
4. Fill in the application form with personal, educational, and experience details.
5. Upload required documents
6. Pay the application fee through debit card, credit card, or net banking.

The fee structure for different categories is as follows:

• General/OBC: Rs 3000
• SC/ST/EWS: Rs 2400
• PwD candidates are exempted from the fee

After submitting the form, candidates should take a printout of the confirmation page and payment receipt for future reference.

While the full eligibility details will be shared in the detailed notification, candidates applying must generally hold a recognised nursing qualification and be registered with a State or Indian Nursing Council. Relevant work experience, if required, will be clarified once the complete advertisement is released.
