R R Medi Pharma Ltd (R R Medi), a company promoted in the associate
 sector by Shri V Raman and his associates with the Tamilnadu
 Industrial Development Corporation Ltd (TIDCO) was incorporated as a
 Public Limited Company on the 3rd June, 1991 in the state of Tamil
 Nadu.  The company obtained Certificate of Commencement of Business
 on 24th July, 1991.
 
 R R Medi has been promoted as a joint venture in the associate sector
 by Shri V Raman and associates with the Tamilnadu Industrial
 Development Corporation Ltd (TIDCO).
 
 Shri V Raman until recently was the General Manager of the KCP Ltd.
 and  is currently Director of Arkonam Castings & Forgings  Ltd. (a
 joint venture between TIDCO & KCP).
 
 TIDCO is a state level development financial institution set up with
 the object of promoting industrial development in the State of
 Tamilnadu to step up the pace of industrialisation and create
 employment opportunities.  TIDCO has so far been involved in the
 setting up of over 61 major projects in Tamilnadu with a capital 
 outlay of over Rs.1567 crores.  The Companies co_promoted by TIDCO
 include SPIC, Tamilnadu Petro Products Ltd, Titan Watches Ltd,
 Ushta-te-Biotech Ltd., UB Petroproducts Ltd. etc.
