Villagers immediately informed the police control room. Police from Mokhampura police station reached the spot within about 10 minutes, the report cited officials as saying. When officers entered the house, they found blood scattered across the room and the mutilated bodies of the mother and daughter lying inside, leaving even the police shocked.

Senior officials including the Maujamabad SDM Balveer Singh, ASP Shyamlal Bairwa and DSP Deepak Khandelwal also reached the scene with additional personnel. Given the seriousness of the crime, a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team from Jaipur was called to collect evidence, including blood samples and the suspected murder weapon, the report added.

According to villagers cited in the report, the couple had been experiencing marital discord for nearly two months, though no one expected the dispute to end in such a gruesome tragedy. Police have sent the bodies to the Dudu sub-district hospital mortuary for post-mortem examination.

The accused husband has been taken into police custody, and investigators are questioning him to determine what led to the violent act that destroyed his own family.
