SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS RELATED TO THE ON GROUND EVENT

  1. Age Limit: Open to all
  2. Register. To register for the Event, you must complete the Event registration process and pay any registration fee. Your payment and registration entitle you to access the Event for which you have registered. Event registration is subject to availability and may close earlier than the posted deadline, as determined in our sole discretion. We may also change the Event program at any time in our sole discretion. You will at all times comply with E18’s code of conduct.
  3. Possession of a valid ticket entitles the Attendee to enter the Event venue on the date and time as stated on the ticket or such date and time as revised by E18.
  4. Once a ticket is purchased, it cannot be transferred, exchanged, cancelled, refunded or returned.
  5. Entry to the Event is open to persons of all ages. Attendee must pay the full price of the ticket (as applicable to the respective dates of the Event) to enter the Event Venue. Entry of children below the age of 6 years is complimentary however entry for such children shall be allowed only when he/she is accompanied by an adult Attendee shall furnish a proof of date of birth, wherever required by E18.
  6. Each ticket entitles only a single Attendee to enter the Venue of the Event on specified date(s) of the Event.
  7. E18 reserve the rights of admission to the Event, even to valid tickets, without refund or other recourse.
  8. Ticket is priced at INR 25,000/- (Indian Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) exclusive of applicable taxes and ticketing platform fees.
  9. The GST invoice for your ticket purchase will be generated within 20 days from the date of purchase. Ensure that all necessary details for invoicing are correctly provided during the booking process.
  10. All the Attendees who have successfully registered and purchased the tickets for the Event shall be eligible to receive Moneycontrol Pro annual subscription and Forbes India Digital annual subscription (collectively referred to as ‘Subscription(s)’).
    For accessing the Moneycontrol Pro annual subscription: - A unique coupon code will be provided to you on your registered e-mail ID used for Start up Conclave. You can redeem the same on Moneycontrol website and access your subscription after the Event. Please note that standard Terms and Conditions of Moneycontrol Pro will be applicable.
    For accessing the Forbes India Digital annual subscription: - You will receive a unique password to log-in and access your Forbes India Digital Subscription (annual) through https://www.forbesindia.com/subscription/ on your registered e-mail ID that you have used to register for the Start up Conclave. You can access subscription post the Event. Please note that the standard Terms and Conditions of Forbes India Digital Subscription will be applicable.
  11. Only tickets purchased from the Moneycontrol Properties shall be considered as a valid ticket for entry to the venue of the Event.
  12. Once you have completed your registration, you will receive your registration confirmation by email. Please ensure that your valid email id is entered correctly on the registration form. Be sure to check your junk email box too in case any of your Event email(s) are caught by spam filters.
  13. Defaced, altered or tampered tickets shall be treated as void and the Attendee will be refused admission to the Event venue.
  14. Attendee shall not resell, transfer or distribute the ticket purchased by him/her, in anyway, whatsoever. Resale, transfer or distribution of the ticket shall lead to cancellation of that ticket without any refund of the ticket amount.
  15. Recording, Live Streaming, and Videotaping by the Attendee is not allowed. Attendee will not record, upload, distribute, share, save or broadcast/publish/display audio or video of sessions of the Event in any form, mode, media and format.
  16. No payments will be refunded or refundable. Once paid, registration fees for the Event are non-refundable. Please note that if you cancel and/or do not access the Event, you are still responsible for the payment. In no event shall E18 be obligated to refund all or any portion of the registration fee.
  17. E-ticket received by the Attendee after online booking needs to be shown at the entry gate of the Venue for the purpose of procuring wrist band.
  18. An attendee must wear his/her wrist band for all days of the Event, as provided against the tickets purchased. Without the wrist band, the Attendee shall be required to purchase a fresh ticket to enter on the respective dates of the Event.
  19. Duplicate tickets/wrist bands will not be issued for lost or stolen tickets/wrist bands.
  20. Speaker/Luminary/Dignitaries line-up and participation displayed in any advertisement or promotional medium are subject to change.
  21. E18 reserves the right to amend or modify the terms of the Event without intimation to the Attendee, including without limitation the schedule of the Event.
  22. Outside eatables, beverages, alcohol, cigarettes, liquids, bottles, cans, tins, bags, laptops or hazardous substances or dangerous objects including but not limited to arms & ammunition, knives, guns, fireworks, helmets, lazer devices, bottles, musical instruments, lighters, match box, aerosol and other flammable items and any banned/controlled substances, are not allowed/permitted inside the Event venue. E18 reserves the right to confiscate these items and evict the Attendee from the Event if he/she is found to be in possession of such items. Consumption, sale and/or possession of any illegal substances is strictly prohibited, and Attendees found consuming, selling or possessing such illegal substances will be immediately handed over to the appropriate authorities. If, in the opinion of a representative of E18 or venue personnel, the Attendee is under the influence of drugs or excessive alcohol, or that it is necessary for the safety or comfort or security of other attendees or for the protection of property, E18 reserves the right to refuse the entry or request the Attendee to leave the Event venue and may if necessary physically remove the Attendee from the Event venue or physically restrain the Attendee. E18 reserves the right to deny entry or handing over of tickets in case the holder/furnisher of the e-ticket is a minor or is not accompanied by an adult Attendee at the Venue entry.
  23. E18 shall not provide storage facility for any items or belongings carried by an Attendee to the Event. Attendees are advised not to carry any items that would require a storage facility.
  24. The participation and content shared by various Speaker/Luminary/Dignitaries at the Event are purely intended for the purpose of general awareness. E18 shall not be liable for any claims, resulting from Speaker/Luminary/Dignitaries content and participation at the Event.
  25. Parking of vehicles near or at the Event venue is at the sole risk of the Attendee. E18 or the parking agency shall not be held responsible for any damage or theft of any vehicles parked in the designated parking area of the Event. Parking charges as applicable will be borne by Attendees and will not be refundable.
  26. Attendees are advised to take necessary precautions if they suffer from any medical condition that may have an adverse effect on their health during the Event. If an Attendee is carrying any medication in the form of drugs or otherwise, it is his/her sole responsibility to verify whether if such medication is legally allowed at the Event venue. Basic first aid will be made available where necessary. However, E18 are not responsible for, any injury, harm, or damage, of any kind that may occur during, at, or around the Event.
  27. E18 or any of its agents, officers, employees shall not be responsible/ liable for any injury, damage, theft, losses, harmful effects of food items or drinks consumed, or any other loss suffered by the Attendee at the Event venue during the Event. E18 shall not be responsible for any claims, demands, causes of action, injury, losses, liabilities and expenses resulting or arising as a result of the Event or any part of it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, E18 will not be responsible for loss, damage or injury to any person, or their property howsoever caused.
  28. Alcohol, (if served) will not be served to Attendees under the legal drinking age. Alcohol consumption at the Event (if allowed) will be allowed only when the Attendee is provided with an alcohol permit band, on display of a valid Government issued ID proof. Consumption of alcohol, (if allowed) will be allowed only in designated areas and shall not be carried anywhere outside the designated area. E18 reserves the right to alter or modify the designated area at any time.
  29. E18 reserves the right, without refund of the ticket amount or any other payment, to refuse admission into the Event venue or evict from the Event venue any Attendee who (i) commits any act of nuisance or misconduct or disruptive or inappropriate behaviour during the Event and/or (ii) breaches these Terms.
  30. E18 and /or its appointed service provider reserves the right to conduct security searches including frisking, checking bags and refuse admission or evict an Attendee for any security reasons. Security procedures, including frisking and bag checking, remain the right of E18 and/or its appointed service provider. All visitors/Attendees must cooperate with the security at the Event, in the interests of the security of all Attendees of the Event
  31. Responses of Attendee, or any material sent during or post the on-ground Event by the Attendee to E18 including but not limited to feedback, comments, suggestions, ideas, reviews, inputs, messages, testimonials and other communications of any kind shall be deemed to be non-confidential (‘Material’). The Attendee accepts and grants E18 an exclusive, royalty free, assignable, worldwide, transferable, irrevocable, perpetual and fully sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, promote, publicly perform, distribute, publicly display Material freely without limitations, permissions or obligations of any kind from/towards the Attendee for any purpose without compensation or attribution to you. E18 is also free to use any ideas, inputs, concepts, know-how or techniques contained in Material for any purpose whatsoever perpetually. E18 reserves the right to analyse and summarize data including but not limited to your personal information that E18 collect and also reserves the right to publish, distribute, share summaries of the data collected with sponsors or other business partners without limitations, permission or obligations of any kind.
  32. You grant us, our affiliates, and our independent contractors the right to record, film, photograph, and capture your voice and image in any media at the Event (the “Recordings”). You grant to E18 and its affiliates, agents, employees, and assigns an irrevocable, nonexclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right and license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and translate, for any purpose relating to our business, all or any part of the Recordings and Your Materials. We may edit the Recordings and Your Materials, use them alone or together with other information, and allow others to use and disseminate them. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you waive any moral rights you may have in the Recordings and Your Materials. You represent and warrant that (a) Your Materials are true and accurate to the best of your knowledge, (b) you have the necessary rights and permissions to grant the license as per this section, and (c) Your Materials do not violate or infringe any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights of any person or entity. For the purpose of these Terms “Your Material” shall mean all materials submitted (including, for example, your name and biographical information) or presented by you (in electronic copy or hard copy, verbally, or otherwise).
  33. Attendees also agree not to take pictures or videos where posted or announced as prohibited and agree that any permitted photos or videos will not be used for any commercial purposes and will not be made publicly available or generally displayed without prior written consent of E18.
  34. In all arrangements involving third parties, E18 act only as agent and no liability of any kind whatsoever shall be attached to E18 or its affiliates in connection with or arising from such an arrangement with a third party.
  35. When you register yourself for the Event you provide us with certain personal data/information which we shall share with the sponsors and/or business partners for the Event related communications and also for the sponsors and/or business partners and/or E18 for future prospecting, to contact you for future business engagement, to send marketing and/or promotional materials about their respective services and products etc. from time to time (‘Purpose’). It is clarified that you are giving your express consent to E18 and the sponsors and/or business partners of the Event for the using your personal data/information for the abovementioned Purpose. If you do not wish for E18 to continue using your personal data/information, and/or disclose your personal data/information for the Purpose at any time, you may opt out of providing the same by contacting E18 at startupconclave@nw18.com.
  36. Any information and data submitted by the Attendee for purchasing the tickets, including without limitation, personal information, shall be governed by the Terms of Use read with the Privacy Policy of E18, as applicable.
  37. Attendee hereby agrees to indemnify E18 against any losses, damages and claims suffered or incurred by E18 as a result of Attendee’s breach of these terms and conditions, and/or any of Attendee’s acts or omissions.
  38. E18 shall not be liable for loss of actual or anticipated profits, loss of goodwill, loss of business, loss of revenue or of the use of money, loss of contracts, loss of anticipated savings, loss of data and/or undertaking the restoration of data, any special, indirect or consequential loss, and such liability is excluded whether it is foreseeable, known, foreseen or otherwise. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein set out, E18 aggregate liability shall not exceed the total value of the ticket paid by the Attendee.
  39. The Event is subject to force majeure events i.e. E18 and its affiliates will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation under these Terms where the delay or failure results from any cause beyond our reasonable control causes including without limitation, acts of God, civil or military actions, acts of the public enemy, war, civil disturbances, insurrections, industrial dispute, strikes, accidents, explosions, fires, earthquakes, floods, transportation embargoes, epidemics, diseases, acts of government.
  40. Purchasing the ticket implies acceptance of all the Terms of the Event. E18 reserves the right to cancel or modify the Event without prior notice. The decision of E18 is final and binding and no correspondence shall be entered into in this regard.
  41. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Indian Law, and parties hereby agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdictions of the courts of Mumbai for the determination of any dispute. In the event of any conflict, the Specific Terms and Conditions provided for this Event shall supersede over the General T&C’s available on the Moneycontrol website.
  42. We are committed to provide a safe environment for all participants of the Event and make it free from discrimination on any ground, and from harassment, including sexual harassment. We will operate a zero-tolerance policy for any form of sexual harassment. All incidents and complaints will be taken seriously, and offenders will be immediately handed over to the appropriate authorities.
  43. Venue rules apply.
  44. These Terms & Conditions shall be deemed to include any code of conduct, advisory, press release/note, and other terms and condition documents for the Event as published, identified, advised, or promulgated by E18 and the same should be read as part and parcel of these Terms & Conditions.
  45. We are fully committed to following laws related to the collection of data and to our carefully considered policy on data collection. You are required to give us the correct details about yourself and E18 will not be liable for any damages direct or indirect for any wrong addresses submitted.
  46. Attendees must take care their personal belongings. E18 shall not be responsible for any loss or damage at, during, or around, the Event.
  47. If any part of these Terms and Conditions are unenforceable, the enforceability of any other part of these Terms and Conditions will be maintained. If you have any questions, you can email us at startupconclave@nw18.com
  48. We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior at the venue to pick up your physical tickets.
  49. Disclaimer
    1. The views, opinions, suggestions, comments and the entire content expressed by the individual speakers, attendees, luminary, dignitary or sponsors at the Event ("Speaker(s)") in course of their participation in the Event are solely their own and neither do they represent those of E18 nor are they endorsed in any manner by E18, its employees, associates, representatives, agents and affiliates/subsidiaries/parent company.
    2. Speaker(s) at all times remain fully and solely liable and responsible for their actions, expressions and/or views/opinions/comments. E18 will not be responsible for their actions, expressions and/or views/opinions/comments, and any claims, damages, outrage arising due to the comments, views or opinions by the Speaker(s). All expressions/comments/views/opinions made by the Speaker are for information purposes only.
    3. E18 makes no representations as to accuracy, completeness, timeliness, suitability, or validity of any information presented by Speakers, attendees or sponsors at the Event and will not be liable for any errors, omissions or delays in this information or any losses, injuries or damages arising from its display or use.
    4. Additionally, E18 shall not be held liable or responsible for any violation of intellectual property rights that may arise out of any Speaker(s) participations, performance, comments, views or opinions and/or the Event. E18 or its representatives, employees, directors, officers or agents, shall not be liable for any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent on the part of E18 or its representatives, employees, directors, officers or agents.
    5. E18 does not endorse, and expressly disclaims all liability relating to, any of the products or services provided by Speakers, attendees, or sponsors.
Advisory Alert: It has come to our attention that certain individuals are representing themselves as affiliates of Moneycontrol and soliciting funds on the false promise of assured returns on their investments. We wish to reiterate that Moneycontrol does not solicit funds from investors and neither does it promise any assured returns.
