Royal Enfield has launched the Himalayan Mana Black Edition in India, priced at Rs 3.37 lakh (ex-showroom). The new variant, unveiled globally earlier at EICMA 2025, arrives as a factory-accessorised version of the company's latest-generation adventure motorcycle and draws design inspiration from Mana Pass, a high-altitude route situated at 18,478 feet.

According to the company, the Mana Black Edition channels the rugged terrain and extreme weather of Mana Pass through its Stealth Black finish and matte accents. The motorcycle has been designed for riders who treat remote terrain as an opportunity for exploration rather than a challenge. The model is configured with factory-fitted components calibrated for long-distance endurance, reflecting Royal Enfield's broader philosophy of enabling riders to, in its words, "travel farther, delve deeper, and conquer in style".

One of the key highlights of the Mana Black Edition is its complete adventure-ready equipment straight from the production line. This includes a Black Rally dual seat designed for improved grip and comfort, Black Rally handguards, a Rally mudguard for rough terrain, and wire-spoked tubeless wheels aimed at combining durability with modern practicality.

Powering the Himalayan Mana Black Edition is the Sherpa 450 engine platform, a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, DOHC unit with four valves. The engine displaces 451.65cc and delivers 29.44kW at 8,000rpm along with a maximum torque of 40Nm at 5,500rpm. It uses a semi-dry sump lubrication system, ride-by-wire electronic fuel injection with a 42mm throttle body, and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.

The chassis comprises a steel twin-spar tubular frame, while the suspension setup includes a 43mm USD front fork with 200mm wheel travel and a linkage-type monoshock at the rear, also offering 200mm of travel. The motorcycle's off-road-friendly stance is supported by a 230mm ground clearance and 860mm seat height. Dimensions include a length of 2,285mm, a width of 900mm and a height of 1,316mm. Kerb weight stands at 195kg, with a 17-litre fuel tank suited for long-distance touring.

Braking hardware comprises a 320mm ventilated front disc with a double-piston caliper and a 270mm rear disc with a single-piston caliper. The model features switchable dual-channel ABS.

On the electronics front, the motorcycle receives a 4-inch round TFT display with phone connectivity, full-map Google-powered navigation and media controls. Other equipment includes ride modes, a USB Type-C charging point, an LED headlamp, an LED taillamp and LED indicators.

Bookings for the Himalayan Mana Black Edition are now open across Royal Enfield stores and online through the Royal Enfield app and the company's website.
