JSW MG Motor India has announced a massive price cut of up to Rs 4.44 lakh on the MG ZS EV in a limited-period offer, as the carmaker celebrates its sixth anniversary.
While JSW MG entered India with the Hector SUV, the ZS EV was its second offering, making the company one of the earliest entrants in the electric car market.
Apart from the Hector SUV and the ZS EV, the carmaker currently offers the Comet EV, Windsor EV, Astor SUV and Gloster SUV. It is gearing up to introduce the Cyberster electric sports car and the MP electric limousine.
With the price drop, the ZS EV sits in the price bracket of Rs 16.75 lakh to Rs 20.50 lakh (ex-showroom). It was earlier priced between Rs 16.88 lakh and Rs 24.94 lakh (ex-showroom).

So far as features are concerned, it boasts LED headlights and taillights, 17-inch alloy wheels, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital instrument panel, a PM 2.5 filter, a 360-degree around view camera, a panoramic sunroof and Level-2 ADAS.

"I would like to thank all our customers and other related stakeholders who have helped us chart a growth story in the dynamic Indian automobile market for the last six years. The foundation of the company is based on innovation, and the MG ZS EV stands as a true testament of what the MG brand was truly capable of back in 2020. It was a car that redefined traditional mobility with the inclusion of tech-driven innovations in it," said Rakesh Sen, Head of Sales, JSW MG Motor India.
"To commemorate our sixth anniversary in India, we have made the MG ZS EV even more accessible for customers looking to upgrade to a stylish electric SUV. Our other two EVs are already at an accessible price point, and with this special pricing, the MG ZS EV will also attract customers seeking a premium ride. We remain confident that with an attractive overall packaging and pricing, the MG ZS EV will surely captivate Indian car buyers," he added.
