The country's largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki India, today announced the inauguration of its 5,000th Arena service touchpoint in India, marking a major milestone in the company's nationwide service expansion. The new facility has been set up in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
Apart from the 5,000 Arena service touchpoints, Maruti also has over 640 Nexa service touchpoints.
With the new addition, Maruti's overall service network now comprises more than 5,640 service touchpoints across 2,818 cities in India. This includes formats such as Arena and Nexa workshops, Maruti Suzuki Sales and Service Points (MSSSP), rural workshops, service-on-wheels, and Maruti Suzuki Authorised Service Stations (MASS).
The newly inaugurated Coimbatore workshop spans 3,200 sq m and features four service bays and four body repair bays, equipped with advanced tools and systems to support comprehensive vehicle maintenance. In Tamil Nadu alone, the company now operates over 400 authorised service touchpoints.
In FY25, Maruti serviced over 27 million vehicles, its highest-ever in a single fiscal. Between April and September 2025, the company has already serviced more than 14 million vehicles across the country. The network has the capacity to handle over 30 million customer vehicles annually.
Maruti Suzuki India MD and CEO Hisashi Takeuchi said that the company is looking to further expand the service network. "In FY25, we opened 460 service touchpoints under Arena and Nexa channels, and in FY26, we plan to add a total of 500 service workshops to our network," he said.
