Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition SUV sets record, 999 units sold out in 135 seconds

The Batman Edition, based on Pack Three, features a custom Satin Black body colour, accented with Alchemy Gold-painted suspension and brake callipers.

Mahindra & Mahindra on Friday announced that all 999 units of the BE 6 Batman Edition were sold out within just 135 seconds of bookings opening at 11:00 AM.

Unveiled on the eve of India’s 79th Independence Day (14 August 2025), the limited-edition electric SUV was originally planned as a 300-unit collector’s edition. However, surging demand prompted Mahindra to increase allocations to 999 units — which still sold out in barely two minutes.

The BE 6 Batman Edition marks Mahindra’s first collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, blending the cinematic legacy of Batman with cutting-edge EV design and performance.

The BE 6 Batman Edition, a special collector’s model inspired by The Dark Knight Trilogy, priced at Rs 27.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries for the limited-edition SUV will commence from 20 September 2025.

The Batman Edition, based on Pack Three, features a custom Satin Black body colour, accented with Alchemy Gold-painted suspension and brake callipers. Distinctive touches include the Bat emblem placed across the hub caps, front quarter panels, rear bumper, windows, rear windshield, and an Infinity Roof projection, along with a “BE 6 × The Dark Knight” rear badging. A signature Batman decal on the doors, R20 alloy wheels, and carpet lamps projecting the Bat logo further underline its exclusivity.

Inside, the cabin is styled in charcoal leather and suede upholstery with sepia gold accent stitching, complemented by a Batman Edition plaque with numbering on the dashboard. Premium details such as a gold-accented steering wheel, electronic parking brake, custom key fob, and Batman-embossed Boost button and headrests elevate the experience. The infotainment system features a special Batman Edition welcome animation, while custom Batman-inspired engine sounds add to the drama.

Buyers can opt for a home charging solution at additional cost — Rs 60,000 for a 7.2 kW charger or Rs 75,000 for an 11.2 kW charger.
