Honda Cars India has introduced a round of upgrades to the Honda Elevate to enhance sales during this festive season. The changes focus on cosmetic detailing and interior options rather than mechanical updates.
The key addition is a new alpha-bold plus grille, which uses a prominent vertical slat design bordered by a chrome outline. It is now standard on the Signature Black Edition and can also be added to other trims, excluding the base model.
At the top end, the ZX grade is offered with an ivory cabin package. This variant comes with ivory-finished seat upholstery along with matching inserts on the dashboard and door pads, creating a lighter, brighter interior. Customers can further choose premium add-ons such as a 360-degree camera system and seven-shade ambient lighting. The new ZX ivory grade starts from Rs 15.51 lakh (ex-showroom).
The V and VX grades now adopt a revised cabin finish. Instead of the earlier shadow beige theme, these trims get black cloth upholstery combined with ivory inserts on the doors and dashboard. Alongside this, the Crystal Black Pearl exterior shade has been extended to V, VX and ZX variants, though the entry-level SV does not get the option. The V and VX grades start from Rs 12.39 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 14.14 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.
Honda is continuing with the Black Edition and Signature Black Edition. The Black Edition mixes dark bodywork with chrome highlights, while the Signature variant adds a full blacked-out treatment along with the Alpha-Bold grille and ambient lighting as standard fitment.
There are no changes to the powertrain. The Elevate remains equipped with a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine, rated at 121hp, with a choice of 6-speed manual transmission or 7-speed CVT automatic gearbox.
Based in the mid-size SUV segment, the Honda Elevate rivals the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
