Hero MotoCorp has launched the Glamour X 125 motorcycle in India at a starting price of Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom), expanding its 125cc portfolio with a new model loaded with several segment-first features.

The Glamour X 125 is available in two variants -- Drum and Disc. The following are their prices (ex-showroom).

Hero Glamour X 125 Drum - Rs 89,999

Hero Glamour X 125 Disc - Rs 99,999

The Glamour X 125 introduces several first-in-segment features. It is the first 125cc motorcycle globally to offer low battery kick startability, enabled by Hero's Advanced Electronic Ride Assist (AERA) technology. Other innovations include ride-by-wire for throttle precision, cruise control, three ride modes (Eco, Road and Power) and a panic brake alert system.

The motorcycle is powered by the new Sprint-EBT engine, producing 11.4bhp and 10.5Nm. The motor features an engine balancer, a silent cam chain and tuned gear ratios for refinement and better NVH levels. Hero claimed the engine is designed for a balance of performance and fuel efficiency, complemented by a distinctive exhaust note.

The Glamour X 125 carries a muscular stance with sharp body lines and sculpted body panels. A full LED lighting package, including headlamp, position lamps and LED tail lamp, enhances visibility. The bike comes with a multi-colour LCD instrument cluster that supports Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, gear position indicator, distance-to-empty readout and an ambient light sensor.

Switchgear has been redesigned with hazard light functionality, while a wide handlebar and high ground clearance aim to improve rider control. For pillion comfort, the Glamour X 125 offers a larger seat with better cushioning and a wider rear grab rail. It also features a utility box under the seat that can accommodate two mobile phones, a tool kit and a first-aid kit. A Type-C USB charger is standard.

Among the rivals of the new Hero Glamour X 125 are the Honda Shine 125, TVS Raider 125 and Bajaj Pulsar 125.
