GST 2.0 effect: Mahindra announces price cuts, other benefits up to Rs 2.56 lakh on Bolero, XUV 3XO, Scorpio, Thar, XUV700

The Mahindra Scorpio-N has total benefits to the tune of Rs 2.15 lakh.

To enhance its festive season sales, India's largest SUV manufacturer, Mahindra & Mahindra, has announced benefits to the tune of Rs 2.56 lakh on its internal combustion engine (ICE) line-up.

Apart from a reduction in the ex-showroom price due to the Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate rationalisation, Mahindra is also offering additional benefits on its SUV.

Cumulatively, the total benefits are up to Rs 2.56 lakh on models like the Bolero, Bolero Neo, XUV 3XO, Thar, Thar Roxx, Scorpio Classic, Scorpio-N and XUV700.

"Mahindra today announced the revised ex-showroom prices of its ICE SUVs. The company is passing on the full GST benefit to customers and, in addition, extending further benefits of up to Rs 1.29 lakh," the company said in an official communication, adding that these benefits together add up to Rs 2.56 lakh.

The GST price cut is up to Rs 1.27 lakh on the Bolero/Bolero Neo, Rs 1.56 lakh on the XUV 3XO, Rs 1.35 lakh on the Thar, Rs 1.33 lakh on the Thar Roxx, Rs 1.01 lakh on the Scorpio Classic, Rs 1.45 lakh on the Scorpio-N and Rs 1.43 lakh on the XUV700. This is the maximum price reduction on the SUVs.

Additionally, Mahindra is providing benefits up to Rs 1.29 lakh on the Bolero/Bolero Neo, Rs 90,000 on the XUV 3XO, Rs 20,000 on the Thar, Rs 20,000 on the Thar Roxx, Rs 95,000 on the Scorpio Classic, Rs 71,000 on the Scorpio-N and Rs 81,000 on the XUV700.

Cumulatively (GST price cut + additional benefits), buyers can avail benefits up to Rs 2.56 lakh on the Bolero/Bolero Neo, Rs 2.46 lakh on the XUV 3XO, Rs 1.55 lakh on the Thar, Rs 1.53 lakh on the Thar Roxx, Rs 1.96 lakh on the Scorpio Classic, Rs 2.16 lakh on the Scorpio-N and Rs 2.24 lakh on the XUV700.
