Shriram City Union Finance has reported a 23 percent rise in its net profit at Rs 181.79 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2016.
Company's net profit was at Rs 147.70 crore in the April-June quarter a year ago.
"Total income has increased to Rs 1,055 crore for the quarter ended June 2016 from Rs 917 crore a year ago," it said in a regulatory filing.
Shriram City Union Finance (Shriram City) is part of the three decade-old Shriram Group.
It is a deposit-accepting non-banking financial company (NBFC).
Shares of the company closed 1.76 per cent up at Rs 1,920.30 on the BSE.
