MAT row: DTAA to come to FIIs' rescue?

The government could provide some relief to foreign institutional investors (FIIs) over tax demands. The centre is seeking nearly Rs 40,000 crore from FIIs by levying minimum alternate tax (MAT) on capital gains they made over the years till March 31.
