State-owned MMTC gained as much as 6% and Engineers India rose 2.3% intraday on Thursday as CNBC-TV18 reported quoting DowJoneswire that divestment secretary said the government has been planning share sale in these companies.
At 15:15 hours IST, MMTC was quoting at Rs 738, up 3.84% amid hefty volumes. Its trading volumes surged 533% to 2,41,515 shares as compared to its 5-day average of 38,148 shares. Market capitalisation of the company currently stands at Rs 73,800.00 crore.
Engineers India rose 0.66% to Rs 222.65 and its volumes increased 81% to 11,092 shares as compared to its 5-day average of 6,117 shares.
