Toyota to raise capacity to 3.1 lakh units in India by 2013

Passenger car maker Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) plans to invest about Rs 898 crore to increase its production capacity in India to 3.10 lakh units per year by 2013.

Passenger car maker Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) plans to invest about Rs 898 crore to increase its production capacity in India to 3.10 lakh units per year by 2013.


The announcement comes just a month after TKM announced plans to increase annual capacity to 2.10 lakh units from 1.50 lakh units by first half of 2012.
