Reliance Comm redeems $500 mn convertible bonds

Reliance Communications, India's second-biggest mobile carrier by subscribers, said on Tuesday it has redeemed USD 500 million worth zero-coupon foreign currency convertible bonds issued in May 2006.

Reliance Communications, India's second-biggest mobile carrier by subscribers, said on Tuesday it has redeemed USD 500 million worth zero-coupon foreign currency convertible bonds issued in May 2006.


Reliance Comm said in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange that it had made the payments on May 9, which was the due date for redemption.
