There is more trouble likely for the Air India management as it braces itself for one more round of unrest from the pilots.
Over a hundred pilots have threatened to resign in protest against the management as some of them have not been given a chance to fly the dreamliner aircrafts.
The members of the Indian Pilots Guild of the erstwhile Air India are miffed with the management for discriminatory decisions, alleging that they favour erstwhile Indian Airlines pilots. As many as 101 pilots have written to the management in this regard. The pilots have asked for no-objection certificates from the management to start looking for jobs. This comes three days after the pilots had threatened to go on strike claiming that they were being discriminated against. The pilots had alleged that no career progression plan was in place. They had said that the erstwhile Indian Airlines pilots were being given priority for 787 dreamliner training. Discover the latest Business News, Sensex, and Nifty updates.
